All of our students have a unique story to tell. Many start out at Garrett College with plans to transfer to a four-year college or university. A large percentage of our students are the first in their family to attend college. Others seek to advance their career by learning a new skill.

Answer: It has an amazing anatomy and physiology program! Mrs. Deniker is one of the best! She is really passionate about the material and wants to make it enjoyable for you.

Share one highlight from the semester.
Answer: One of my favorite highlights from GC is being with my classmates stressing together over the next test or being in lab making sure you’re taking all safety precautions and not trying to catch anything on 'fire'.

What advice do you have for a potential student or someone interested in pursuing a career in nursing?
Answer: If you'’'re thinking about or considering becoming a nurse, you should really go to GC! It'’'s a way cheaper option, especially if you live locally. Garrett has an excellent pre-nursing program. I can safely say that all the teachers here at GC are rooting for you to succeed! They really want what is best for you – so why wouldn’t you want to come here?
