Classic Holiday Workshop set for November 14th

Garrett College, Deep Creek Pottery hosting 5th annual event at PAC

Garrett College and Deep Creek Pottery are bringing a favorite holiday tradition to a new location with the return of the 5th Annual Classic Holiday Workshop, taking place on Saturday, November 14th from 2–6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Garrett College.

The hands-on workshop offers community members of all ages the opportunity to embrace their creativity while painting and personalizing ceramic holiday keepsakes. Whether creating a thoughtful, handmade gift or a festive decoration for the home, participants can enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with no prior artistic experience necessary.

"The Classic Holiday Workshop has become a wonderful tradition that brings people together during the holiday season," said Matia Vanderbilt, coordinator of community education at Garrett College. "We're excited to celebrate our fifth year in a new location and continue offering an opportunity for people of all ages to create something special while making lasting memories."

Participants will have the opportunity to select from a variety of ceramic pieces to paint and personalize. Early registration is strongly encouraged to secure a spot and ensure the best selection of available items. Walk-ins will be welcome as supplies allow.

“Presented through Garrett College's Continuing Education & Workforce Development division, in partnership with Deep Creek Pottery, the workshop reflects the College's ongoing commitment to providing engaging, accessible educational and recreational opportunities for the community,” said Vanderbilt.
