Garrett College Workforce Training to Host Third Annual Open House
Workforce Development Programs to be Highlighted in Event

Accident, MD – Garrett College Workforce Training will host its third annual open house at the Beitzel Career Technology Training Center on March 26th from 2-6 p.m.
"People can preview our new kitchen space, test out our welding simulators, and check out the new ambulance we recently acquired for our EMT and paramedic programs," said Donna Bittinger, GC’s director of workforce training. "We really just want community members to stop by and see what goes on at the CTTC."
Bittinger said attendees will be entered into a raffle for a family day pass to the Edwards Community Aquatic & Recreation Complex (CARC).
Workforce Training, a department within the Continuing Education & Workforce Development division of Garrett College, offers a range of programs leading to certifications and credentials in key industry sectors.
Garrett College offers workforce training programs in Allied Health & Emergency Services (paramedic, certified clinical medical assistant, phlebotomy technician, medical billing and coding, and veterinary assistant), the skilled trades (diesel mechanic, construction trades, manual and CNC machining, culinary arts, marine technician, and welding), the Mountaintop Truck Driving Institute (Class A and Class B commercial licenses), electrical apprenticeship, and several online training programs (child care provider, cyber workforce accelerator, and online technician training).
