Laker Stuchal takes fourth at Shenandoah
Bunn wins twice; five other GC wrestlers each earn one victory

Garrett College’s Cole Stuchal finished fourth in the 174-pound weight class Saturday at the Shenandoah University Invitational.
Winchester, VA – Garrett College sophomore Cole Stuchal finished fourth in the 174-pound weight class Saturday at the Shenandoah University Invitational.
Stuchal went 2-2, helping the Lakers finish seventh out of 11 wrestling teams.
“We placed highest out of the NJCAA teams,” GC head coach David Wingate said of his squad’s performance. “We wrestled well overall. This was the hardest competition we’ve wrestled so far this season.”
Drayk Bunn, Garrett’s 197-pounder, also finished 2-2. Five other Lakers – Nicholas Anderson (125), Camden Hull (133), Macdiel Marquez (141), Braeden Poorbaugh (184), and Jacob Beeman (285) – each won a match during the invitational.
