A degree is not issued from Garrett College; students must apply to their transfer institution for acceptance into their program. Allegany College of Maryland Transfer Notes
The Dental Hygiene Program at ACM is a competitive admission program based on grade point average (GPA); completion of these classes does not guarantee acceptance into the ACM program.
A minimum GPA of 2.5 in 15 hours of college-level coursework is required prior to application at ACM. ACM requires a Criminal Record check prior to entry into the Clinical phase of the program.
CPR Certification for Health Care Professionals is also required at application (offered regularly at ACM).
